I was snowblowing my drive yesterday and the when I refueled (40:1 mix)the snowblower started running rough. That got me to wondering if they make something that can test the mixture and tell you what the actual ratio is. I mix mine with a turkey baster for the oil, marked off to get the right. Fishing from shore is your only option unless you have canoe. I live in Cincinnati now but grew up in Piqua. It is off Park Ave. drive. While at Swift Run you might as well try Echo Lake which is less than a mile west of Swift Run. GMR under the 25A bridge proved to be a good spot. This is going back 40 years ago (47 now). Good Luck! Does anyone have experiences with Weston Bait Tanks? From what I've gathered online they run anywhere from $250-300 for the tanks and stainless steel agitator. I found a site that had a special deal where you could get both the tank and etither the AC or DC agitator for $118. (Yes $118) I was. Walleye don't take to a lot of lakes,especially the west central lakes in my realm like Indian and Lake Loramie. Shallow,muddy lakes weren't too kind to the walleye.They even like the shallow/muddy Miami river,just below IL. Saugeye are mean. Get 1 in the boat and they thrash around like a northern pike. Eating machines and grow quickly. I see very few floaters-dead ones. They'll bite all year. Hi New to this site and finding it great resource already, I live in Columbus and the only big river in the immeadiate area is the Scioto, so i fish it quite frequently. Ive tried as far north as Rt 42 and as far south as 670 and grandveiw ave covering both resivoirs and off of the beaten path. Are there any Bass clubs in this area looking for new members. Does'nt have to be federated club, but could be. Just an average angler and don't want to spend all that money to fish a circuit. Use to fish Atwood bass club several years ago. Was going to this year and they tell me there not going. I bought an inexpensive net from jann's netcrafters. I think it was about 25 bucks. Seems to work really good-as it has landed alot of eyes this year. The handle extends to 12 ft and hoop diameter is pretty large.
